If you’re in the market for a spacious and versatile midsize three-row SUV, the 2021 GMC Acadia offers a stylish and sophisticated solution. Its bold and elegant styling will turn heads wherever you go, while the refined ride makes any journey a pleasure. With a choice of three potent engines, precise handling, and optional all-wheel drive, the Acadia provides a rewarding driving experience.

The upscale, contemporary cabin has flexible seating configurations that enable you to make the most of your passenger and cargo capacity. Whether you’re on the daily school run or hauling gear on a weekend camping adventure, the Acadia makes light work of it. It comes in five trim levels, each offering unique styling cues and increasing levels of comfort and equipment. Here’s a look at the interior features.

Sumptuous Seating

The 2021 GMC Acadia trim levels are the SL, SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali. SL models offer three rows of seating for up to seven people with standard 60/40 split-folding second-row bench seating. The other Acadia models come standard with second-row captain’s chairs and seating for six, although you can opt for a bench seat. The 50/50-split third-row seats fold flat for a level cargo area floor.

All Acadia trims feature SmartSlide second-row seats that make it easy to get in and out of the third row. An available second-row passenger-side tip feature slides the seat forward and angles it slightly, even with an empty forward-facing child seat in place. This option provides even more convenient access to the back seats.

The front passenger sensing system automatically turns the passenger-side air bag on or off. A rear seat reminder activates when the doors open and reminds you to check the back seats. The standard lower anchors and tethers for children (LATCH) system makes it easy to install and secure a compatible child seat.

The SL and SLE trims offer cloth upholstery and four-way manually adjustable front seats. Stepping up to the SLT trim gets you perforated leather seating, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and heated front seats. The rugged AT4 has unique premium cloth or available leather upholstery with the stitched AT4 logo.

Go with the luxurious Denali trim for perforated leather upholstery with embroidered Denali logos, heated and ventilated front seats, a memory driver’s seat, an eight-way power-adjustable passenger seat, and heated second-row seats.

To keep you comfortable, it has tri-zone automatic temperature control with rear climate controls and an interior humidity sensor. Useful storage solutions include a front center console with pass-through storage and 10 cup holders.

Going with the SLT gets you remote start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. A 120-volt power outlet mounted on the rear of the center console is convenient for powering up your electronic devices. The AT4 has unique interior styling details and sill plates embossed with the AT4 logo.

The top-of-the-range Denali trim features a head-up display, a reconfigurable 8-inch driver information screen, an automatic heated steering wheel, and a power tilt and telescoping steering column. Denali embossed sill plates add an elegant touch.

With a full complement of passengers, you have 12.8 cubic feet of storage space behind the third-row seats. Folding down the third row gives you 41.7 cubic feet of cargo space, and with the second row folded down, you get an impressive 79-cubic-foot cargo area with discreet under-floor storage for small and valuable items.

The cargo floor is wide, making it easy to organize your stuff and load larger items. The SLT trim and up offer a programmable hands-free power tailgate for convenience when your hands are full. An available cargo package features a retractable cargo shade and vertical net to keep your gear in place. An optional integrated cargo liner mounts to the back of the third-row seats and features an easy-to-clean nonskid surface that protects the seatbacks and floor.

If you need even more hauling capability, SLE models and up can be equipped with an available trailering package that gives the Acadia a towing capacity of up to 4,000 pounds.

The package includes:

  • Seven-pin wiring harness.
  • Class III hitch.
  • Heavy-duty cooling system.
  • 170-amp alternator.
  • Hitch Guidance.
  • Hitch Guidance with Hitch View on SLT, AT4, and Denali trims.
